Meredith Lee Obituary

Meredith Lucille Lee went to be with the Lord on October 21, 2025. She was met by Jesus and reunited with her mother and father, Oran and Bess Hanna who preceded her to glory. Mrs. Lee was born in Clintonville, West Virginia on October 18, 1935. She later moved to Little Rock, Arkansas with her husband. She was an active member of the Geyer Springs Church of Christ in Little Rock, Arkansas. Mrs. Lee loved spending time with family and friends. She cherished holidays and being surrounded by loved ones. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Scott Lee; four brothers, Melvin Hanna, Max Hanna, Murl Hanna Millard Hanna; two sisters, Marilyn Hanna and Marcelle Boggs. Mrs. Lee is survived by two sons, Joe (Denise)Hanna, and James (Sherry) Lee; two grandchildren, Scott Lee and Megan (Johnny) Stacks; three great-grandchildren, Masen, Clayton and Braden; one brother, Maynard (Judy) Hanna, one sister, Mona Buffington, one sister-in-law, Shirley Hanna and numerous nieces and nephews. Graveside burial will be at 1:00pm on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, at Clintonville Church of Christ Cemetery. Smathers Funeral Chapel Rainelle, West Virginia has been honored to be entrusted to care for Mrs. Lee and her family during their time of need.
