XENIA — Jeremy Scott Parks "JP" age 34 of Xenia, passed away Tuesday morning in Xenia. He was born October 13, 1982 in Dayton, Ohio the beloved son of Scott and Tanya (Hiney) Parks. Jeremy had been a construction worker, doing odd jobs the past few years. His main passion was the outdoors where he was an avid fisherman and hunter, mainly deer and turkey. Surviving family includes his parents, Scott and Tanya Parks of Xenia, a sister Jessica Parks and her sons, George and Adrian Taylor of Akron, as well as other family members and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by a son, Brayden Scott Parks on September 18, 2008, and his grandparents, Jett and Vulura Parks and Jean and Joe Withrow. Funeral services will be held at Noon Saturday, June 10, 2017 at AHOP, 282 Stelton Road, Xenia with Pastor Mark Brooks officiating. Burial will follow in the Woodland Cemetery in Xenia. Friends may call from 11AM until service time at the church. Services are under the direction of the McColaugh Funeral Home Inc. 826 N. Detroit Street, Xenia. To the family; we are so sorry for your loss. My husband worked with Jeremy for a short time about 12 years ago and they knew each other in school as well. Jeremy was such a sweet person and it saddened us to hear of his passing. You will all continue to be in our hearts and prayers.
