XENIA — Randy E. Arnett, 62 of Xenia. OH owner of Moorman's Towing and Body Shop, passed away suddenly from heart complications on Wednesday March 28, 2018. He was born May 19, 1955 in Dayton, Ohio to Russ and Mary Ann Arnett of Medway. Randy Arnett met Sue Arnett on May 19, 1985 and they built a life of love and friendship that carries them to this day. Randy Arnett's roots were made in Medway. He was known as a hardworking, honest young man who would get things done. He later became a Deputy and was an 18 year veteran of the Clark County Sheriff's Department. Randy managed Hopkins Towing and quickly became known as an industry specialist. In 1990, Randy and Sue moved to Xenia and purchased Moorman's Towing. Through years of hard work, they built a successful business and strived for perfection. He took immense pride in the close relationships he had with the local Fire and Police Departments. He was known as the go to for training and recovery needs of our first responders. Randy was proud of the fact that his business was a family business, with all his children and longtime friends by his side working together. There wasn't a job too big or too small that Moorman's couldn't handle together. Randy Arnett was the pillar of our community who strived to make his business, his family, and his town better. He was proud to support our K-9 Program, high school mock accidents, providing training grounds for Fire/Ems. Everyone knew they could count on Randy Arnett and Moorman's Towing. Randy Arnett would soon be known as a doting grandpa. It would be a rare occasion to see Randy without his grandchildren. Everywhere he went, one of his grandkids was right by his side and without question , they were his best friends. In his passing, his legacy shall be carried forth by his children and grandchildren. Randy was preceded in death by his parents, Russell and Mary Ann Arnett as well as his best friend Roger White of W&W Automotive & Pepper. Randy Arnett is survived by his wife Sue Arnett and Grandma Bielke, his three sons Bryan and Lisa Arnett and their three sons Addison, Tyler and Rylin Arnett; Ryan Arnett and Mandi, Tomboy and Kim Arnett, his brother Tim and Cindy Arnett, niece Rachelle Arnett, his sister Kathy and Tim Dennis and family, brother-in-law Dale and Roberta Jones, nephew Dale Jones, Jr. and family, niece Nicole Worley and family, his cousins Lorrie & Stan Williamson and their son Wes, Connie & Darryl McKinney and family and Larry, Lyle and Lynn Arnett and families. Aside from his family, he leaves his dearest friends: Missy, Kirk Anderson, Fred Maine, Keith Linkhart, Mike Pauley, Larry Wylie, Gene Fischer, Jim Fry, Tommy Johnson, Rick "Lumpy" Stoner, Roy Layne and his first wife Debbie Lewis Dalton and husband Ron. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM Saturday March 31, 2018 at the Assembly Hall at the Greene County Fairgrounds. Burial to follow in the Medway Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 3PM-7PM at the Fairgrounds Assembly Hall. Arrangements in care of McColaugh Funeral Home, Inc.

Randy Eugene Arnett is my Grandfather. My Grandpa was a loving,caring, and hopeful man. He would do anything for anybody. Although he did thing the most difficult way possible, I loved him with all my heart and I will truly miss him.

Mr. Arnett sounded like an amazing man. June 14th Flag day should be Randy Arnett Day in Greene Co. God bless him and those who loved him. My heartfelt condolences to you all!!

Condolences to Randy's family. His photograph looks exactly like I remember him when we we used to visit as young kids. He led a meaningful life and departed too early.
