Richard Drake Obituary
FAIRBORN — MSGT Richard G. Drake Sr., USAF, (Ret.), 87, passed away on March 17, 2017. Richard is survived by his wife of sixty-six years, Patricia; sister, Sally Browning; son, Ric; and daughter, Marsha (Tim) Scully. He was blessed with five grandchildren, Ryan Drake (Amy), Christopher Copenhefer (Dustin), Kelli Scheid (Jim), Shaun Drake (Catie), and Cory Drake; eight great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his son, Michael. Richard was a kind and loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, uncle, and friend. He will be dearly missed, and remembered fondly. There will be a memorial in celebration of Richard's life, 3:00PM, Saturday, April 1, 2017 at Bonaventure of Colorado Springs, 9112 Grand Cordera Parkway, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80924. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Richard's memory to the Pikes Peak Hospice Foundation. Arrangements By: The Springs Funeral Services, Colorado Springs, Colorado, www.tsfs.co
