Donna Favors Obituary

Rock Hill, SC-Donna L. Favors, age 76, died on October 2, 2025. It was with great heart break her family bid her farewell and lifted her to the heavens. In 1967, Donna met her soulmate and husband, Bruce D. Favors. The couple shared 57 wonderful years of marriage, filled with love, laughter and family. Sadly, Bruce preceded Donna in death on May 4, 2025. Together with Bruce, she built a beautiful life. She was blessed with five children, one of whom passed away, Wendy Morsberger of Roebuck, SC. Donna's heart lives on in each of her surviving children: Laura Arthur of West Bloomfield, MI; Julie Quick (Melissa) of Indian Trail, NC; Bruce "Kyle" Favors (Ronda), of Gray Court, SC; Leslie Joseph (Tommy) of Upland, IN and the grandchild they raised, Adam Favors of Chicago, IL; and her cherished grandchildren, including Cassie Cameron (Sean) of Greer, SC; Candace Holliday of Gray Court, SC; Savannah Bridges (London) of Union County, NM; Charlie Bridges of Dallas, TX; Zachary Arthur (Max) of Wayne, MI; Brendan Arthur (Anastasia) of Waterford, MI; Chloe Arthur of West Bloomfield, MI; Katherine Cox of Muncie, IN; Chelsea Semilla (Richard) of Gaston, IN; Tyler Joseph (Destinee) of Marion, IN, Kirsten Carrion of Gaston City, IN; Dylan Joseph of Upland, IN; Lavonte Cox (Natalya) of Athens OH; Kenzell and Kamari Joseph of Upland, IN; and David Cameron of Greer, SC and her eleven additional great grandkids and another on the way. Born on January 21, 1949 in Lancaster OH, and raised in Muncie, Indiana. She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Hilda McGowan, and siblings, George (Kathy) McGowan, Barbara (Gary) DeToffol, Marie Driscoll and Betty Pereira. She was survived by brother, Terry McGowan (Sherry) of Plano, TX and Brother-in-law, Aelred Pereira of Little River, SC. Donna was industrious throughout her life, working as a manager in several industries, including Automotive Parts and Service. In 1998, she was named Corporate Secretary and Office Manager to Heat Treating Services Unlimited, Inc. jointly founded with Husband Bruce, son Kyle, daughter in law, Ronda. She threw herself into the business, managing the administrative operations for HTSU and then Thermal Technical Solutions for 22 years and was proud to retire in 2020. HTSU continues to serve the industry today under the leadership of Kyle Favors. Donna brought joy and love to others, speaking easily to those around her, making people laugh and creating instant friendships. She cherished family and was devoted her children and grandchildren. Donna loved with a fiery spirit. She spent the past five years tirelessly caring for her husband Bruce through a difficult health battle. She dedicated her life to supporting, nurturing and caring for those she loved. Her family is a living testament to her heart and unwavering love. Donna set a standard of love, loyalty, and nurturing that shaped the lives and values of her family. Donna will be remembered for her smile, beautiful laugh, kindness, generosity, and unwavering love. Her legacy will be passed on through the love and kindness of those who had the privilege to know her. In celebration of the life and legacy of Donna L. Favors, a Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, October 11, 2025 at 3 p.m. preceded by visitation from 2-3 pm at Greene Funeral Home's Northwest Chapel in Rock Hill, SC.
