Linda Wolfe Obituary

Linda Lee (Thomas) Wolfe, age 80, went to be with the Lord at 12:30 PM on Monday, June 16, 2025, with family by her side in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. She was born on July 18, 1944, in Norfolk, Virginia, to Leroy W. Thomas and Alma V. (Breakfield) Thomas. Linda was a 1962 graduate of Rock Hill High School and attended Spartanburg Methodist College before starting a family. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Thomas H. Wolfe; her nephew, Robert Mitchell; and her brother-in-law, Al Mitchell. She is survived by her son, Brian Wolfe (and Kathy) of Las Vegas, Nevada; daughter, Terrie (Wolfe) Brookshire (and Craig) of Rock Hill, South Carolina; grandsons, Christopher Wolfe (and Karen), TJ Brookshire, and Jon Brookshire (and Bailey); and her 10-year-old great-grandson, Ethan Wolfe. She is also survived by her sister, Becky Mitchell of Rock Hill; nephew, Randy Mitchell (and Samantha); and niece, Robin (Mitchell) Martin (and Kevin), both of Rock Hill. Visitation will be held at Greene Funeral Home on Ebenezer Road in Rock Hill on Friday, June 20, 2025, at 1:00 PM, followed by a service at 2:00 PM and graveside interment at Philadelphia Cemetery in York, South Carolina, at 3:30 PM. Linda cherished her years in Myrtle Beach and loved the ocean. She deeply adored her grandchildren and great-grandson. Throughout her life, she cultivated meaningful friendships in Myrtle Beach, Rock Hill, and Mount Vernon, Illinois. A passionate historian, she was an active member of the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) and the United Daughters of the Confederacy (UDC), with a strong interest in genealogy. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Linda's name to Traditions Health in Myrtle Beach, whose compassionate care in her final days was deeply appreciated by the family.
