Barry L. Moody Jr.

YORK Barry Lee Moody Jr., 52, left this earthly home for eternal rest on November 21, 2011, at York Hospital. He was the loving husband of Connie Ritz Moody, to whom he was married for over 18 years. Born on July 26, 1959, in York, he was the son of the Gloria (Ehrhart) Miller and late Barry Lee Moody Sr. and step-son of Herbert Miller. He loved to be at the river and just watch the water. He loved his family the most esp his grandson, Kolbi. You could find them together alot. He was such a sweet man who will be sadly and deeply missed by all who knew him. In addition to his parents and wife he left behind one daughter, Ashley Myers and husband, Ryan of Manchester; three sons, Joseph Moody and wife, Brandi of York, Ryan Moody of York and Michael Shaffer of Etters; one stepdaughter, Robin LaValley of York; one grandchild, Kolbi Myers; three sisters, Belinda Grimm of Seven Valleys, Christine Root of York and Kimberly Windon of York; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister, Brenda Miller; and a nephew, Daniel Grimm. Following Cremation at John W. Keffer Funeral Homes and Crematory, Inc., 902 Mt. Rose Ave., York, a private memorial service will be at the convenience of the family. We would like to thank York Hospital 3 North for his care.
