Dan Hendrix Obituary

We mourn the loss of Dan Hendrix, who passed away on August 10, 2017 at the age of 63 after struggling with illness.
He was the beloved husband of Martha Hendrix; father of Fiona Keller and husband, Frankie and Emma Harshbarger and husband, Shawn; grandfather of Revan Harshbarger; and brother of Judith Palmer and Gary George.
Dan spent his life and energy beautifying people's lives as a talented artist and encouraging their spirituality as one of Jehovah's Witnesses. A stoic man of few words, he offered a dark, witty sense of humor and unique observations to his friends and family and they will miss him.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, August 19, at the Prospect Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses, 701 Dallas St., York, at 3 p.m.

I still think of Dan and my wonderful memories with him and Martha. I had a long busy day yesterday, but was thinking of the anniversary of his passing. I know he is missed, and not just by me.

It was always our honor and pleasure to see and talk to you and your wonderful wife Martha.
Even though we are saddened that you will no longer grace our Integrative Medicine office, we know that you have been called home to our Savior, Redeemer and King! What a beautiful time for you!

What I can say about Dan is that if it wasn't for him I would have never received the Truth. His kindness and brotherly attitude towards me are something I hold dear in my heart. We worked together painting on jobs and helped me when I needed it. And I can say that when he laughed his whole face would light up. I look forward my brother of seeing you again. And my dearest Martha, You have been a dear sister spiritually and fleshly to me. I love you and mourn with you. Jehovah will end this soon. My prayers are with you .
