We first met Don and Aileen when we bought our first home on Locust Lane 48 years ago. We spent many great times at neighborhood parties and always remember Don's sense of humor and great jokes. We also recall his mastery with the trombone and his expertise in conducting the Spring Garden Band which we frequently attended. We offer heartfelt sympathy to his wife Aileen and children.

Dear Aileen and family,
We were saddened to learn of Don's passing on August 3rd even though we realize he has been in poor health for many years and is now in a better place. We have both been privileged to call him friend. Our friendship goes back a long way and our lives have been enriched by his social and musical interaction. We would like to think that we are both better human beings for having known and loved Don. He will live on in everyone he has touched and influenced in his 80 years. God bless you and your family, Aileen.
Love, Bob and Gail Hartsough

Don Krebs was my first "stand partner" in the Spring Garden Band in the trombone section. I will always remember his smiling face and pleasant conversations each and every time we played trombone next to each other. He was a talented man and I will always remember him.
