Pat, Mark, and Amy, you are in our thoughts and prayers! John was such a tremendous presence in our neighborhood and lives. We have so many memories of his keeping watch over us as we played all over the neighborhood! I know he is still watching over us all from heaven with his big heart and hands ready to help anyone in need. Take good care and know how much we are thinking of you all!

My heart is saddened by the loss of a wonderful person. John was able to spread so much love and joy wherever he was and to everyone he met.
His kindness and love for others will always be remembered.
I have been so blessed to have known John and will always remember him.

Amy and I were very sad to hear of the passing of John. John was a long time neighbor on Circle Drive and he and Patsy were very good neighbors and friends to my mother. I have many good memories of the Circle Drive gang! Patsy, Mark and Amy, please know that Amy and I will always keep John and the rest of you in our thoughts and prayers. Being 1000 miles away makes our support difficult, but we will be back in the very near future. Bless you all!

My love and sympathy goes to the family. John was such an amazing man. He would start two months before Christmas to grow his beard just right in order to be Santa. Amy and I spent many weekends or even weekdays playing cards with him and Patsy. A favorite game of his was hand and foot. I have so many special memories of John but my favorite was when I was working in an elementary school for the day and told the kids I knew Santa. Of course they didn´t believe me. I called John and within a half hour Santa pulled up to the school in his red truck. I am not sure whose eyes lit up more, the kids or John´s. He just wanted to do something nice for others and being Santa was his way to bring happiness and love to his corner of the world.

Patsy, Mark, and Amy I am so very sorry to hear about John's passing. I think about you all so fondly and have to laugh so many times when I think about growing up on Circle Drive with your family. (See photos I found. Hope you are OK that I am sharing these!. Good times!) So many great memories. I also want to acknowledge that I owe John so much as he got me my first job at the bank which led me to making a lifelong career in banking. I will always be so grateful to him for that. God Bless and I'll keep you in my prayers. I am sure he and Dad are having lots of laughs as we speak. Love you all!

Pat and Amy we are so sorry to hear of John's passing. I remember when I first moved in John would always tease me about all the work I was doing to the house. It made me feel welcomed. We are right next door if you need anything at all!
