Joseph J. Spinelli, 94, entered into rest on Monday, April 26, 2021 in Baltimore, MD.

A visitation will be 10-11:00am Friday, April 30, 2021 at the John W. Keffer Funeral Home, 902 Mt Rose Ave, York. Funeral service will begin at 11:00am at the funeral home. Private burial will be in St. Patrick's Cemetery.

Mr. Spinelli was born September 3, 1926 in York, PA, and was the son of the late John and Josephine (Terrasi) Spinelli. Joe attended William Penn Senior High School until 1944. He worked for McCrory Distribution Center for over 20 years in the warehouse. Joe loved his McCrory family and retired in 1990.

Joe was an avid stamp, coin and antique collector. He also could be found watching old Westerns. He loved John Wayne movies. Joe also loved reading, writing, walking and going out to eat with his family.

Joseph is survived by his daughter, Josephine Spinelli Rapp of Columbia, MD along with her husband Brian; his son John Spinelli of York and daughter Mary Spinelli of York. He is also survived by his beloved sister, Edith Cuffaro of Cincinnati, OH. He had two granddaughters, Taylor Claxton wife of Thomas of Odenton, MD and Courtney Rapp of Columbia, MD. He also adored his many nieces, nephews and godchildren.

Mr. Spinelli was preceded in death by his brothers and sisters: brothers Chris Spinelli, Pat Spinelli, and Anthony Spinelli; sisters Mary Spinelli, Grace Beddia, Rose Whitman, Gladys Dietz, Frances Gohn.
