So sorry for your loss.-
I grew up in Jacobus, and knew of Keith then. After I moved, I got to know him more through my friends, the McDonalds, who live across the street.
"Keither" was a kind person who always had the time to chat with me when I was visiting. He knew that I liked to take a huge rock back home with me for my garden, so he always had one ready for me when I was leaving, or would send one down south for me with the McDonalds. I may not have any more rocks added to my garden, but I'll always have the memories.
My thoughts and prayers are with you the family, and with the neighbors who were his extended family. God will keep you in his care during this sad time.

Keith (dude) thanks for keeping my spirits high through the years. You were more than a friend to me and my son, you were family and always will be. I looked up to you my whole life since I knew you as long as sprint cars which has been my whole life. I will cherish every race, cookout, visit, and vacation we took to Eldora Ohio together, along with the miles of biking we did out there while we were amazed at how flat and easy it was to bike out there. We threw football together during the day and I know you loved riding the motorcycle with me at our cookouts by the pool. Though it was a short time Kyle knew you it was obvious how he looked up to you at the races and when you made your trips this past winter with all the cool games and things we got to do together. I will keep my spirits up through this by remembering the wonderful person you are and the happy memories we shared together!
God bless you brother

Keith (Dude) was always there for us when we needed help with something. That's what neighbors do; help each other. The neighborhood just won't be the same without Keith there to share it with. He just loved Canolli (our dog) and always went out of his way to come over and see him. I would like to watch Keith decide which pool (ours or Ruthie's)to get in by checking the temperature in each before jumping into one. It had to be warm for him to get in. Liz, please know that we are here for you and your family during this difficult time. Love, Todd, Missy, Brittani and Canolli.

My thought go out to your entire family. It's seems like just days ago we were growing up together. I have a lot of great memories from the fire hall, playground, church and through school. We remained friends all these years and always took time to talk when we saw each other. Sorry to miss the service, but am leaving country in a.m. so please pass my prayers along to all of the family.

A VERY SPECIAL FAMILY TO ME..LIZ,GREGG,CINDY,KIM AND LANCE. I WANT TO THANK YOU FOR LETTING ME KNOW SUNDAY, THAT KEITH HAD PASSED AWAY. IT HAS BEEN DIFFICULT, BUT EACH DAY IS GETTING ALITTLE BETTER. I HAVE ALOT OF MEMORIES TO LOOK BACK ON AND THAT IS HELPING ME COPE. I'VE KNOWN YOU ALL, FOR ALOT OF YEARS. I MET KEITH AT THE SHREWSBURY CARNIVAL, WHEN I WAS 15. DOUG,TODD,BARRY AND KEITH, WHICH RESULTED INTO THE BAND "WHITE ROCK". MY PARENTS JUST LOVED "THE BASEMENT PARTIES". MOM WOULD TURN HER HEARING AID OFF. WE WENT THROUGH ALOT OF CARS, IN ALL THOSE YEARS. THE VW,THE MG,AND ALL THE MUSTANGS. THE MG AND THE BROWN MACH1, WERE MY FAVORITES, WHICH I THINK IS STILL TUCKED AWAY IN A GARAGE.IN MY CLOSET, I HAVE KEITH'S "BARRACUDA" JACKET AND A "MG" EMBLEM. SOME THINGS YOU JUST KEEP, FOR WHATEVER REASON. I REMEMBER WHEN HE BOUGHT THE YELLOW OR WHITE MUSTANG, HE TOOK STANLEY FOR A RIDE DOWN THROUGH THE PINES AND WHEN THEY GOT BACK HOME, HIS DAD SAYS,"BOY, THAT CAR HAS ALOT OF SNAP TO IT". I NEVER FORGOT THAT. WHILE WE WERE DATING, KEITH WOULD COME FROM JACOBUS TO SHREWBURY BEFORE SCHOOL AND WATCH ME GET ON THE BUS AND THEN COME BACK DOWN, AFTER HE GOT OFF OF WORK AT SMITH'S. GAS WAS ALOT CHEAPER THEN! BACK THEN, LOVE WAS LOVE, AT NO PRICE. WHEN WE WENT OUR SEPARATE WAYS, WE STILL REMAINED FRIENDS, UNTIL FEB.28,2010. THAT IS WHAT I WILL CHERISH.FAITHFULLY EVERY YEAR, I WOULD SEND HIM A BIRTHDAY CARD. THIS PAST YEAR, HIS CARD WAS HAND DELIVERED. I'M GLAD I DID THAT. ALSO, RUNNING AROUND WITH KIM AND WAKING UP TO LIZ PREPARING THE TRADITIONAL "KOHR FAMILY" CHICKEN DINNER, ON SUNDAYS.YOU TREATED ME LIKE FAMILY AND I THANK YOU FOR THAT.I HOPE SOME OF THESE MEMORIES, PUT A SMILE ON YOUR FACE, AS THEY DO FOR ME.SOMETHING I KNOW I WILL NEVER FORGET, IS THE NIGHT BEFORE KEITH PASSED AWAY,I HAD A DREAM ABOUT HIM.THEY SAY THINGS HAPPEN FOR A REASON AND I BELIEVE THAT. THE REASON..I DON'T KNOW. MAYBE SOMEDAY, I WILL FIND THE ANSWER. MY VERY DEEPEST SYMPATHY, TO EACH AND EVERY ONE OF YOU. IF YOU NEED ANY HELP AT ALL, PLEASE LET ME KNOW. I'M HERE. TAKE CARE AND GOD BLESS YOU ALL.

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."

It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man.

God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.

When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.

I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.

There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.

If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.

So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.

And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.
