Kenneth Stine Obituary

Kenneth A. Stine YORK Kenneth A. Stine, 73, died at 2:15 p.m. on Friday, July 28, 2006, at his residence. He was the husband of Arlene M. (Shaub) Stine. Born November 2, 1932, in Dallastown, he was a son of the late Charles G. and Flossie I (Knisley) Stine. Mr. Stine was retired from York Automatic Sprinkler Company, and was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. In addition to his wife, Mr. Stine is survived two sons, Keith A. Billet and his wife, Rose of Dover and James A. Billet of York; three daughters, Sharon R. Ellis, Tammy L. Billet, and Mary R. Herman and her husband, Thomas, all of York; 12 grandchildren; two greatgrandchildren; three brothers, Charles F. Stine of Dover, and John W. Stine and Vernon L. Stine, both of York; and four sisters, Shirley Moose of Florida, and Margaret Shank, Hilda Perry, and Susan Treadway, all of York. He was preceded in death by a son, Douglas E. Billet; and three sisters, Edith Keener, Stephanie Markle, and Mary Miller. Funeral services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Tuesday, August 1, 2006, at William E. Little Funeral Homes, 60 S. Main St., Manchester, with the Rev. Richard Stambaugh, pastor of Ambassador's Bible Chapel, officiating. A viewing will be 9 to 10 a.m. Burial will be in Suburban Memorial Gardens, with military rites presented by the York County Veterans Honor Guard.

Dad, you will always live on in my heart and memories. Your my best friend. Thank you for showing me how to be a man and live my life the right way.
