Lamar Ruby Obituary
Red Lion
Lamar G. Ruby, 84, entered into rest Saturday, October 22, 2016, at York Hospital. He was the husband of the late Anna Mary (Geltmacher) Ruby.
Private burial will be in Craley Cemetery. The John W. Keffer Funeral Homes and Crematory, Inc. East York is assisting the family.
Mr. Ruby was born April 4, 1932, in York, a son of the late Grant M. and Lydia (Frey) Ruby. He had attended Ebenezer United Methodist Church and was employed as a Truck Driver.
Lamar is survived by his sons, Keith Ruby, Mike Ruby, Steve Ruby, and Todd Ruby; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
He was the last surviving of five children and was also preceded in death by a daughter, Norma Ruby, and a grandchild, Jerimiah.
Memorial contributions may be made to Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Research Foundation, P. O. Box 650309, Dallas, TX 75265-0309.

Pappy the world has lost a great man. You were the most generous, loving, patient pappy. Thank you so much for all that you've done for me. I wouldn't be half the person I am today if I hadn't had you and Nanny to guide me. I love you with all my heart that is breaking right now. But I know you are in a better place and someday we will be together again. Give my Mama and Nanny a great big hug and kiss for me. I will remember you always and forever. Amen
