Michael W. Knokey, 40, passed away on Monday, November 7, 2016 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
Mr. Knokey was born in York, on March 22, 1976, the son of Betty M. (Saylor) and Charles Knokey, Jr.
Mike was a 1994 graduate of Central High School. Following graduation, he received his welding certification from the York County Area Vocational – Technical School. Aside from being a gifted welder, Mike was an accomplished and award winning tattoo artist and owned Flaming Dragon Tattoo. His passion in life was racing, especially the quarter mile, his best time being 9.34 seconds, set on his Kawasaki ZX10. He was also an avid hunter and fisherman.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his two sons, Michael Knokey, Jr. and Brandon Knokey; sister, Michelle Brodbeck and her husband David; his nephew, Kevin Eichelberger; and niece, Megan Eichelberger.
Following cremation, a casual visitation with the family will be held on Friday, November 11 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Austin H. Eberly Funeral Home, Inc., 104 W. Main St., Dallastown. An opportunity to share stories and memories will begin at 8 p.m.

RIP Mike ....I remember when you came to my daughter Rene'as 16th birthday party at Rocky Ridge, I think you were the only guy there ....I am happy to have known you ...we were also kind of neighbors we lived in Camelot arms and I worked at Central middle school.
