Nicholas Albright, 30, formerly of York passed away October 8, 2016. He was born October 14, 1985, a son of Philip C. Albright and Elizabeth Morton-Peters. Married for 5 years, he was the husband of Lindsey (Shelley) Albright.
Nicholas graduated from William Penn High School in 2004 and attended HACC where he obtained his EMT and Paramedic certifications. Nicholas had an incredible work ethic and an ability to care for others. He started his life saving career at 15 years old working as a life guard. He was most recently employed at York Hospital full time where he worked as an Emergency Clinical Assistant. He also worked part time at Grantley and Newberry Fire Depts. as a paramedic. He was employed for 11 years at Dillsburg EMS.
He was a member at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in York where he was active in the youth group and served as a deacon. A lifetime member of the U.S. Judo Association, he enjoyed learning about swords and martial arts. He will forever be remembered for his sharp wit, sense of humor and amazing smile.
In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by two children, Makenna Albright, Kieran Albright and a baby boy due November 2016; one brother, Christopher A. Albright; grandparents, Lois E. Albright, Catharine N. Peters and Robert S. Bowers
A service and celebration of Nicholas' life will be held on Sunday, Nov. 6 at 2 p.m. at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 25 W. Springettsbury Ave, York . Follow signs for parking. Visitation will be in the church fellowship hall immediately following the service. EMS/Healthcare personnel please wear badges or other identifiers. Please omit flowers.
