Paul Cook Obituary

Paul E. Cook, 51, formerly of York, died Monday, July 5, 2004 at Essa Flory Hospice Center, Lancaster, after a one month illness. He was the husband of Tammy Long Cook. Mr. Cook was born in Gettysburg, a son of the late Oren and Lois Rhoades Cook. A graduate of Eastern High School in York, Paul was a transportation manager for Adcock Brothers in Manheim. Also surviving are three daughters, Megan Cook, wife of Jesse Thompson of Greenville, S.C., Wendi Willis of Lititz and Abby Cook of Greenville, S.C.; a son, Tyler Willis of Lititz; a granddaughter, Yasmen Haines; a sister, Charlene, wife of Merv Bruckhart of Lititz; and three brothers, Joe, husband of Billie Cook, Jeff, husband of Lisa Cook and Tim, husband of Patti Cook, all of Manheim. Paul was preceded in death by two brothers, John Cook and Oren Cook Jr.; and a sister, Wanda Horner. Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Thursday at the Buch Funeral Home, 21 Market Square, Manheim, with Pastor Steve Stauffer officiating. There will be a viewing from 2 to 3 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. A graveside service will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Pine Lawn Cemetery, Clinton, S.C. Please omit flowers. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Lancaster County, 685 Good Drive, P.O. Box 4125, Lancaster, PA 17604-4125.
