Remember Bruce from WGCB-AM-FM and the Gospel DJ program we held every Saturday. Such a great soul and friendly person to talk to. I was in the Master Control area and he was in the studio and we did a live program every Saturday. Miss Bruce and saw him for the last time at WGCB-TV after he had a stroke. Still on top of things. Enjoyed my time hearing a man of hope and who loved the Lord more than anything. Be seeing you soon brother.

Mr. Bainbridge was my father's friend, when my dad owned Pleasureville Pool. I remember Mr. B. from the Learn-to-Swim programs put on by Springettsbury Township. Of course, I was a little girl back then, but I still remember Mr. Bainbridge's presence . . . he was so cheerful and optimistic. He was a kind soul. It is funny that I was just reminiscing about old York and our pool when Mr. Bainbridge popped into my mind. I typed his name in and found he had just passed into Eternity. I'm glad he had a long life on this earth and that his life was such a blessing to so many people. I, too, have very fond memories of him. He obviously radiated His Light. Condolence to his family.

Bruce was a strong and positive influence on my youth. For three summers I had the privilege to work under his leadership as playground director for Yorkshire school. I am sadden by his passing but delighted that his life was long in years and outstanding in leadership. Well done good man.

Mr. Bainbridge was a blessing to all who met him. My friends and I enjoyed many bus trips with Springettsbury Recreation. I do not know how he did it, but he always managed to secure the best seats in the house for the many Broadway plays we attended.
A true class act, a fine gentleman , a most caring human being , a fine Christian and Springettsbury's best all describe Mr. Bainbridge.
Condolences to his family, who shared him with us.
The world was a better place because he was here.
