Robert B. Bones, Sr. 79, entered into rest on Friday, November 24, 2017 at York Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He is the husband of Sandra (Ward) Bones.
Robert was born on December 29, 1937 in Lawrence County, PA to the late George N. Bell, Sr. and the late Pearl Bones.
Robert is a Veteran of the United States Army.
Robert was employed by York City Penn Waste as a Sanitation Engineer for 30 years. In his spare time, Robert enjoyed horse shoes, drawing, pool, watching western movies, animals and most of all he loved spending time with his family.
In addition to his loving and supported wife, Sandra, Robert leaves to cherish his memory two sons, Edward Inkrote and Charles Inkrote (Rosmunda); nine daughters, Kimberly Boulding (Henry), Diane Bones, Debra Ward Spellman (James), Lisa Inkrote, Patricia Stuckey (Larry), Melissa Perry (Rodney), Faye Johnson (Phillip), Mary Inkrote and Virginia Yetter; one brother, George Nathan Bell, Jr. (Katherine/Honey Girl); 46 grandchildren; 69 great-grandchildren; four great- great-grandchildren; and a host of other family members and friends. Robert was preceded in death by his parents; sons, Jeffrey Bones and Robert Bones Jr. (Kemo); brothers, Jessie Bones (his twin), Donald Bones, Leon Bones, Randolph Toomer, Lonnie Bones; a sister, Jacquelyn Toomer; and four grandchildren.
A service will be Thursday, November 30, 2017 at Boulding Mortuary Inc. 471 Madison Ave., York, at 11 a.m. and a viewing will be prior from 9 to 11 a.m. Burial will be at the convenience of family.

I will always remember Bobby and the kindness he showed me. He made me feel welcome and part of the family at all times. I remember having long chats with him, about anything that was on his mind. I appreciate the time I spent with him and I know, that he will be watching over you.
