Robert L. Clutter

RED LION Robert L. Clutter, Sr., 72, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 5, 2013. He was the beloved husband of Barbara A. (Stambaugh) Clutter. They were married for 48 and a half years. Robert was born in Baltimore, Md., a son of the late Calvin Clutter and the late Opal Edwards. He was raised in Renick, W.Va. and was a 1960 graduate of Renick High School. At the age of 18, Robert moved to Pennsylvania. He was a tool and die supervisor at Product Design and Development for 26 years. In his free time, he loved playing cards, collecting coins and antiques and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Bob was a man with a sense of humor. He always had a positive attitude and made the best of any situation. He was loved and respected by many. The viewings will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and 12 noon to 1 p.m Thursday at the John W. Keffer Funeral Homes and Crematory, Inc. 2114 W. Market St. The funeral service will begin at 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home with the Rev. Kenneth Gibson officiating. Entombment will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens. In addition to his wife, Bob is also survived by two sons, Robert L. Clutter, Jr. husband of Lisa, and Scot Clutter; three grandchildren, Brandon Clutter, Kayla Clutter, and Nicholas Clutter; three sisters, Phyllis Belcher, Patricia Carpenter, and Cindy Johnson; two brothers, Marshall Clutter, snd Chuck Edwards; and aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
