It’s with deep sadness I read this news. My sincere sympathy and prayers for comfort and peace to all the family.
I’ve known Bertie since I was a little girl. Sunday school, Bible school and as an adult with my own children at church. Bertie was always there. I loved working with her in the nursery and will never forget how she trusted me to help take care of the little ones during Sunday School services. Working by her side was a pleasure and a blessing.
It’s her smile and her hugs that I’ll miss the most. Every time I saw her she had a wonderful smile and a
warm hug to give—I will never forget you Bertie.
Rest in Peace,
Teresa

I am so sorry Ray for the loss of your dear Bertie. Many hugs are sent your way. She will be so missed by the entire Neiman family. I have been having health problems so I couldn't make the funeral but you're in my thoughts and prayers.

Bertie has been a large part of our lives. She was a Sunday school teacher and child care provider on Sunday's for three generations of our family, including myself, our children, and now our grandchildren, Conner & Sophie. Just this past Sunday, and the last image I will hold dear to my heart, was Bertie holding the hands of Conner & Sophie leading them to their Sunday school program.
We also remember all the fun times helping in the kitchen during our church retreats in which Bertie was in charge of the meals.
She will be greatly missed by all.
Jesus will surely say to Bertie "Well done good and faithful servant"
