Terry Day Obituary
Felton - Terry N. Day, 65, left this earthly world June 7, 2018 after a courageous, determined three yr. fight of AFib and Heart Failure at Penn Medicine, Phila. Born Feb. 8, 1953, son of the late Dee Gentry Day and late Kathleen M. Day (Martin) New Park, where he experienced growing up on their family farm.
He graduated from Kennard Dale in 1971 and had various jobs in the early seventies, including bartending, factory then became a skilled craftsman carpenter which he took pride in, especially custom trim up until health issues in 2013. Terry, also a well known bass player, active in the seventies music culture and "Be-Ins" at Kiwannis Lake, shared his gifts of talent in various bands throughout many years which led him to meet his friend / musician Gen.
Terry married Virginia (Gen) Deller on June 7,1997 and embarked on their journey as husband and wife full circle to the date of June 7, 2018.
Surviving Terry is daughter, Alison M. Day; and son, Levi S Day. Siblings, Michael G. Day of White Hall, MD, Patricia K. Tolley (Ron) of VA, Stella Raffensberger (Vern) of Glen Rock. Also a host of extended relatives and many, many friends.
Celebration of Terry's life will be held June 24, 2018 at 1 p.m. at York County Fiddlers Association, 1448 Main St, Ext., Brogue, PA 17309. Bring instruments and lawn chairs.
The Day family wishes to express sincere thanks to all medical facilities and personnel, Brogue and Fawn Ambulance teams for vigilant services these last three yrs. Family and friends for loving support.

We met Terry years ago thru Bobby Leese and Belinda. then met up with him again when we
came to Stewartstown in 1983. Great guy!!

I met Terry way back in the late 70's when he was a friend of my late husband(heart disease). Terry was a wonderful man,full of life and very gifted on that bass guitar. It was a pleasure to have known him and I'm so very sad that he is gone. I'm sure he was so loved by so many and will be so missed . Sending heartfelt sympathy to the family

I'm so saddened by Your passing ... Terry, you were an awesome man, friend , & musician. I will cherish the good times we shared. Terry always had a smile & that twinkle in his eye. Thankyou Terry for your encouragement when I was playing bass w/ Dave Z. Lord I pray for peace & comfort to Terry's wife & kids & the entire family, as well as his family of friends.
