William Forthman Obituary

William M. "Bill" Forthman, 66, entered into rest on Saturday, March 12, 2005, at York Hospital. He had been the husband of Grace (Runkle) Forthman of York. A memorial service will be 6:30 p.m. Friday at Eastside Church, 3430 Eastern Blvd., York with his pastor, the Rev. Donald Belch officiating. The John W. Keffer Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 902 Mt. Rose Ave., York is entrusted with the arrangements. Mr. Forthman was born November 10, 1938, in York, a son of the late Arlene (Stump) Forthman Smith and Robert H. Forthman. He was a member of Eastside Church and had been an electrician. He had served in the U.S. Navy. Mr. Forthman is survived by four children, Connie Einsig, Ronald Forthman, Wendy Curet, and Robert H. Forthman III, all of York; 11 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a sister, Jean Reed; and a nephew, Donald Reed. Memorial contributions may be made to American Diabetes Assoc., 3544 N.
