Grandpa you were the best grandfather a girl could ask for. I wasn't yours to love but you chose to love and be there for me as if I were yours. I will always cherish our memories, our laughs, and our beautiful holiday moment we shared. I wanted to thank you for everything you've done for me and my sister and brother. We adore you and the strong person you were. You have shown us the beauty of what it meant to be a family. You helped me in ways no other person could ever do. I remember going to the styx concert at the York fair and we were all singing and laughing together. I remember you getting frustrated with me for asking you a million and ten questions about Star Wars, then laughing at me for trying to make the weird noises the characters made. I already miss you so much...I love you Grandpa so so much.

Rest in peace, I have fond memories working with Bill at the York Dispatch back in the seventies.
