Paula Dugan Obituary
York - Paula L. (Gardner) Dugan, 65, of York, PA, passed away peacefully at Wheeling Hospital, West Virginia on Friday, June 4, 2021. She was the wife of Henry S. Dugan, III.
Paula was the mother of LTC Christina Dugan, Ph. D. She is the daughter of the late Dr. George and Pauline Gardner, born on October 8, 1955. She is the younger sister of Rev. Richard Gardner and Robert Gardner.
Mrs. Dugan met the love of her life, Henry as a teenager in 1970 at the York Fair. They celebrated their 47th wedding anniversary on April 28, 2021. Paula retired from West York Area School District after 34 years of service, due to a health condition called MSA, a horrible disease she bravely fought for over 7 years.
There will be a funeral service 11 a.m., Friday, June 11, 2021 at the LeRoy R. Leber Funeral Home, Inc., 2290 School St., York (Shiloh), PA 17408. A viewing will be held one hour prior, from 10-11 a.m. Final resting place will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens, York.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that memorial contributions be made to MSA Coalition "Research Fund", 7918 Jones Branch Drive, Suite 300, Mclean, VA 22102 or you may email [email protected]
