Phillip D. Reichert

Spring Grove - Phillip David Reichert, age 83, passed away on January 1, 2021 at Columbia Cottage in Hanover. He was the loving husband of Ruth M. (Garner) Reichert, who passed away in 2019.

Phillip was born in Abbottstown on February 15, 1937 and was the son of the late Ernie Reichert and Lottie (Herman) Reichert and graduated from East Berlin High School class of 1955. He was a longtime member of Paradise Lutheran Church in Thomasville. He worked as a truck driver for Preston Trucking for many years and also enjoyed farming.

He is survived by his son David Reichert; his daughters Carolyn Lebo, Christine Craver and husband Scott and Rose Ward and husband Ed; 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by a grandson, his son Henry Reichert, his brothers Ernie and William and his sister Dollie.

Services and interment are being held privately by the family under the direction of Beck Funeral Home & Cremation Service Inc., of Spring Grove.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Phillips memory may be made to VNA of Hanover and Spring Grove, 440 Madison St., Hanover PA 17331 or Alzheimer's Association, 2595 Interstate Dr. Suite 100, Harrisburg PA 17110.
