Robert Flohr Obituary
Dover - Robert D. Flohr Jr., 79, passed away on Tuesday April 13, 2021 at his residence. A graveside service will be held at Manchester Union Cemetery at 11:00AM on Saturday April 24, 2021. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory Inc. 1551 Kenneth Rd. York is in charge of arrangements.
Born in York on October 9, 1941, Robert was the son of the late Robert D. Sr. and Dorthy (Myers) Flohr. After serving our country in the US Air Force, Robert retired in 2004 from Panagraphics Inc. following 20 years of service. Mr. Flohr was a member at the Union Lutheran Church of York for many years. He was a lifetime member of both the Vigilant Social Club and the 13th Ward. He was also a member of the Shiloh American Legion and the VFW Post 556. Robert coached Tri-Town football for 25 years. Bob was an avid fisherman and loved to hunt. He took many fishing trips to Canada and hunted out west in Wyoming. As an avid Baltimore Orioles and Ravens fan, he held season tickets for many years. Through the years, NASCAR even had Bob's interest.
Left to cherish his memory are his two sons, Kevin R. Flohr of Dover, Matthew R. Flohr of Dover; sister Kathleen Hansford and her husband, Michael of York. Robert was preceded in death by three brothers; Barry M. Flohr, Larry R. Flohr and Steven E. Flohr.

I also coached football for Tri-Town when Bob was there and also had conversation at the Vigilant Social Club. I want to send my condolences to the family. I coached his son Matt who was a very good football player.
