Thomas E. "Buck" Moser, Jr., 78, passed away Thursday, January 11, 2018 at York Hospital. He was the husband of Sandra L. (Fletcher) Moser to whom he was married 29 years.
Funeral services for Tom will be held Friday, January 19, 2018 at 12 p.m. from Hartenstein Funeral & Cremation Care, Inc., 19 S. Main St., Stewartstown. Interment will be held in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens in York. A viewing will take place from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at the funeral home.
Born in Fawn Twp. he was a son of the late Thomas D. and Lola (Sparks) Moser. Tom was a shop foreman for several farming implementation companies throughout his career spanning from Maple Lawn Farms, Dean Miller's Farm Implement Place, Enfield's Equipment, Hickory International and Benson Automotive. He enjoyed farming, going to hunting camp in the mountains and was a passionate deer hunter.
In addition to his wife, Sandra, he is survived by his four children, David Moser and wife, Missy, Cathy, wife of Brett Schell, Virginia Moser and Pat, wife of Daniel Sheets; one step-son, Chris Blackburn; numerous grandchildren; great-grandchildren; three step-granddaughters; and one step-great-grandson; two sisters, Ann, wife of Gilbert Sommer, Kathy, wife of Bob Heffner; and four brothers, Bill Moser and wife, Judy, Curt Moser and wife, Jane, Jim Moser and Mark Moser and wife, Tracey. Tom was preceded in death by a son, Thomas Moser; a daughter, Judith Moser; and two brothers, Kenny and Sam Moser.
