Elaine, even though our families have drifted apart I did want to say I am sorry for your loss. I know all too well the heartache of losing your mate. I think we saw each other last at Annette's and all of us appeared to be in good health but now I have been without Mickey for over four years. I know the hurt, the long hours without him but we both have our memories and I hope along with your faith in God that the days ahead will not be too difficult for you.

I remember him fondly speaking of his days as Dudley (with) the Go Goys. He recognized my talent not as a singer, but as a flutist. As a student, that was inspiring.

Mr. Callicutt was the best! He had a sincere compassion for his students & he would go the extra mile & I can attest to that first hand. My Dad passed away a week before graduation & Mr. Callicutt took care of what needed to be done to assure my placement at UNC-Pembroke. Mr. Callicutt was not only a great teacher, but he was my friend. You will be missed!
