ROCKINGHAM, N.C. — Randy Lee Peek, 58, of Rockingham, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 12, 2016 at his home.
Mr. Peek was born Jan. 16, 1958 in Christian County, Kentucky, a son of Catherine Causey Peek and the late Thomas Victor Peek. He had served his country in the U.S. Army, had been a member of the Church of Christ and was a carpenter.
Surviving are his children, Nicole Peek Troxell of Atlanta, Georgia, Jessica Peek Scott and husband Julian Warren Scott III of Apex, Isaac Roy Peek of Atlanta, Jacob Emory Peek of Wadesboro; grandchildren, Haley Alanna and Kara Olivia Troxell, Atlee Catherine Scott, Lilly Mae and Emory Matthew Peek; mother, Catherine Causey Peek of Rockingham; and brothers, Gerry Thomas Peek of Bear Creek, North Carolina and Robin Causey Peek of Leesville, Louisiana.
The family will see friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Carter Funeral Home and at other times at the home.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Colonial Chapel of Carter Funeral Home with Wesley Williams officiating. Interment will follow in Zion United Methodist Church Cemetery.
