WAYNE ROGERS Wayne Rogers, long time Somervell County Law Enforcement Officer, passed away on Wednesday, February 28, 2024. Visitation: 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM, Wednesday, March 13, 2024, Cottonwood Baptist Church Fellowship Hall, Service: 11:00 AM, Wednesday, March 13, 2024, Cottonwood Baptist Church under the direction of Wiley Funeral Home. Wayne loved the Lord, his family, his church family, and his animals. He loved his job and he was dedicated to it. He loved life and he was dearly loved and he will be greatly missed. He was preceded in death by his Father-Jerry Rogers and his Mother-Sylvia Rogers. Wayne is Survived by his Wife-Belinda, Son-Wayne & wife Beth, Daughter-Shana "Sissy" & husband Richard, Grandchildren-Nicole & husband Jason, Brick, Wayne, Stone and Slate, Great Grandchildren-Addie & Owen, Brother-Bruce & wife Sherri, and many cousins.

I am truly sorry to here of Wayne's passing he helped me turn my life around he went out of his way to help me and my family change our lives our thoughts and prayers go out to Belinda and his family you was a true hero to many people you will be missed. Jesus welcomed you with open arm's my friend. We will always love you your friends in Christ Jesus, Richard and Teresa Smith.
