Billie Louise Kirk

1928 - 2021

Billie Louise (Sindelar) Kirk, longtime resident of Morris, departed this life to the heavens on September 25, 2021. Billie was a devoted wife to Bill for 63 years. She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Her many pets through the years were all treated like family. She was active in the Booster Club, Cub Scouts, and all her son's activities as they grew up. Billie was an active member of the Trinity Baptist Church of Morris. She was also a member of the Red Hats. She enjoyed working in her garden, flower beds, and going fishing.
She was proceeded in death by her father and mother, the late Joseph and Letha Sindelar; sister Verda Arthur, and sister Adelene German.
She is survived by husband, Bill Kirk of the home.
Children Tim and wife Tracy, Terry and wife Roxie Kirk. all of Morris.
Grandchildren: Amanda Cummings and husband Kyle of Coweta, Megan Medlock and husband Shawn of Tahlequah, Matt Kirk and wife Heather of Morris, Lauren Kirk and Alex Rivera of Stillwater, and Brett Kirk and Candice Morey of Broken Arrow.
Great Grandchildren, Autry Cummings, Easton Kirk, River Kirk, and Everleigh Kirk.
Billie was born the youngest of three girls, in Lamar, on September 28, 1928, to Joseph and Letha Sindelar. As a young woman, Billie worked for the phone company and was eventually transferred to Drumright. There she met Bill and they were married on May 6 of 1958. In 1961, Bill and Billie moved to Morris, to open a new crude oil transportation facility. The business eventually grew into what is known today as Kirk Tank Trucks. Billie was quite knowledgeable about the oil industry and could talk about that or your garden when you entered the office. Billie will be greatly missed.
Visitation at the funeral home was Tuesday, September 28, 2021, from 2-8 p.m.
A funeral service will be held 10 a.m.Wednesday, September 29, 2021, at the Trinity Baptist Church of Morris with Reverend Keith Jacobs officiating. Interment will follow in the Morris Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Matt Kirk, Brett Kirk, Kyle Cummings, Alex Rivera, Ron Casselman and Dusty Shipley. Shawn Medlock will serve as an honorary casket bearer.
