He was Born to Cecil Malone and Ollie (Halbert) Malone on October 14, 1937 in Murchison, TX. Dan Married Sharon (Benson) Malone on February 22, 1958 in Athens, TX. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Stephenville. He loved Hunting, Golfing, Calf Roping and visiting with his friends and spending time with his family. He was kind, generous, helpful, and a friend to many.
He is survived by his wife, Sharon Malone of Stephenville; his children, Stacy James of Stephenville, TX, Lisa Thompson of Little Elm, TX; his grandchildren, Ben Nolan, Nicholaus Malone, Christoper Malone, Daniel Nolan, Elizabeth Thompson, Sarah Malone, Jake Thompson; nine great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; his niece, Tammy Noah, and her husband, Brandon Noah; his niece, Kelly Sage, and her husband Dave Sage; his mother-in-law, Barbara Benson; and his sister-in-law, Buffy Benson.

I remember going to the Dairy Queen in Stephenville when Dan & Sharon owned it. They were always so nice & welcoming, and also contributed much to the community. RIP Dan.
