Clinton Bard Obituary

Clinton Aaron Bard, 58, passed away at Ft. Yuma Indian Reservation on December 19, 2017. Clinton was born on the Ft. Yuma Indian Reservation on February 18, 1959.

Clinton was a laborer and also worked at the Paradise Casino.

He is survived by his wife, Carmen Bard of Winterhaven, CA; his daughter, Anntoinette Taylor; his father, Vernon S. Smith; brother, Virgil S. Smith; his sisters, Deanna Smith and Ramona Engler; 9 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild as well as numerous nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.

Clinton was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents; Jesse White, Brandon Bard paternal grandparents; Albert Smith and Theola Hills, his mother; Bernice Bard, brothers; Randy Bard, Kenny Bard, sister; Marilyn Bard.

Services will be held at St. Thomas Indian Mission Church on December 23, 2017 with a 10:00 am viewing and Mass following at 11:00 am then cremation will be held at the Tribal Cemetery at noon.

Pallbearers will be: Donovan, David, Dakota, Aragon, Ramon, Zuniga, Frank Venegas, Melvin Bounds, Stephen Bounds, Christopher and Brendan McNeely, Jesse, Armondo, Manuel, Phillip Galindo.

Honorary Pallbearers will be: Vernon S. Smith, Virgil S. Smith, Jonathan Brown and Dushane Mills Jr.

The family would like to thank IV Hospice nurse Dee.
