Glenn Taylor Obituary

Buster of Wellton, Arizona passed away peacefully Wednesday, October 15, 2014 in Clinton, Utah. He was born March 25, 1951, the youngest of eight children born to Junior Ivan Taylor and Fawn N. Olsen Taylor. He was raised in Farr West, Utah and attended Weber County Schools. Buster married Shirley Pally and was later divorced. During their marriage he was blessed with two children. He then married Cyndi Clough and was blessed with another child, they later divorced.

Buster enjoyed working as a Sgt. for the Pleasant View City Police Department, and later for the Ogden City Police Department, and as a Cilvil Service Employee for the United States Federal Government. He worked on Hill Air Force Base until his transfer to The Marine Corps Air Force Base in Yuma, AZ and worked there until his retirement in 2013.

Buster enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, boating and spending time with friends. He had a special love for his children, grandchildren, and his dogs. Buster was a man of great strength, who embraced and accepted life, never letting hardship define him. His personality, love, friendship and sense of humor were truly one of a kind. His jokes and laughter will be greatly missed.
Buster was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Linda Taylor; and sister-in-law, Pat Taylor. He is survived by his daughter, Tereasa (Ian) Russell of Clinton, UT; sons, Corey (Denise) Taylor of Syracuse, UT and Nick (Mistee) Taylor of Vernal, UT; thirteen grandchildren; two great grandchildren; two brothers; and four sisters.

His family would like to thank all of his friends for their love and support, as well as Dr. Giangreco and Dr. Shea and all their staff for the outstanding care he received from the Southwest Oncology Group. A special thanks to John Panter for 30+ years of support and friendship.

Buster, your unique personality and kindness is a gift that will be treasured in the heart of everyone that had the privilege of knowing you. Your strength will live on in your children and grandchildren for years to come. Rest in peace, you've earned it.
