James Schultz Obituary
May 16, 1948 - May 28, 2022
James David "Jim " Schultz born in Marshalltown, Iowa was tragically taken from family and friends on May 28, 2022 at the age of 74.
He was the second oldest of 5 children.
Jim was a devoted husband and father. He instilled in his children and grandchildren the meaning of family and friendship. Jim loved to spend time with his grandchildren and friends fishing, traveling, riding his motorcycle, and DIYing. His education as a mechanical engineer took him many places and eventually he ended up settling in Yuma in 1986 and retiring from YPG (TRAX) after 29 years.
He was preceded in death by son, Stephen R. Schultz; wife, Roxy M. Schultz; father, Marvin Schultz; mother, Ann Schultz; and sister, Bessie Griffith.
Jim is survived by sons, Barry Schultz, William Schultz, James Schultz II; and daughter, Chastidy Massey. His 15 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Jim is also survived by his three younger siblings, Richard Schultz, Cathrine Schultz and Linda Schultz.
According to Jim's wishes, he had a private cremation.
Memorial Services will be held at Fraternal Order of Eagles #398, 225 S. 1st Ave, Yuma, AZ on Wednesday, June 15th 2022 from 4:00 to10:00 pm. In lieu of flowers; donations can be made to Fraternal Order of Eagles #398. 225 s 1st ave Yuma, AZ 85364.

I am so very sorry to hear of Jim's passing. My heart and prayers go out to all his children, family, and loved ones. My husband, Dave, and I worked with Jim since 1988. Later, Roxy came to work at YPG also. We all shared the same interests. Jim was always so quiet and easy going, but funny too. While Roxy was the opposite. The love those two had for each other was pretty rare and special. I know they are together now. We all were so blessed to have them both in our lives. I know I will never forget them.
