Loc Hoang Nguyen, age 48, of Yuma, AZ passed away on Nov. 1, 2023 in Yuma, AZ.
Loc was born Jan. 11, 1975 in My Phuoc, An Giang, Vietnam.
Viewing will be held at Johnson Mortuary Chapel on Nov. 11, 2023 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm, with Funeral Services at 2:00 pm
Cremation and Arrangements were entrusted to and handled by Johnson Mortuary.

I loved this man. We meet lots of people in our lives but we know immediately the ones with a pure, good heart. Dr. Nguyen had that quality. He truly was a compassionate human being. He truly cared about his patients as individuals. What a loss to the community and mankind! Sure gonna miss that smile. He'll remain alive in our memories. He was great!

I met Dr Nguyen during his days at Fort Yuma IHS he was a good person and very caring doctor he will be deeply missed...rest in paradise my friend. My sincere condolences to Family and friends all are in my prayers

Dr Loc was the best Dr Yuma ever had, He was very compassionate and kind. He was mine,and Joseph,and my sister in law Dorothy´s , Only Dr. We loved him like family. And we will miss him terribly. He was one in a million. Love you Dr Loc .... Joseph and Sheryn Tvrdik To his mother and family you raised a wonderful son. My deepest condolences. R.I.P our dear friend and Dr. Loc.

I will be eternally grateful to Dr. Nguyen. He is the reason I am still alive today. He didn't like my thyroid results on one of my blood tests and hounded me for months to get a mammogram. Thank God he was so persistent. I ended up having breast cancer and had I waited I might not be here today. He was so kind and caring every time I saw him. I will truly miss him. But I believe he is in heaven dancing with Jesus and in no more pain. I pray God's blessings on his family and children. May His strength see them through all of this, in Jesus name.

I will really miss Dr Nguyen. I had trouble finding a Dr that would really look into why I wasn't feeling good. Dr Nguyen was that Dr., he read up on my symptoms & finally got me to the right specialist. I feel lost cause I know I could always count on him to give me the medical advise I need. My family & I send our Condolences to his family & patients... Prayers for comfort and strength...

We are so heartbroken that Dr Nguyen has passed. He was a very kind man and knowledgable and excellent doctor. He treated us like family and always so friendly with a smile. He was a great doctor to the end.
I hadn't called him in awhile because I didn't really have any serious health issues until I needed a MRI, so I gave him a call and this is when he told me about his condition needless to say I was shocked because I knew him from his days at the IHS. He did his best to get that MRI and will always be thankful for that.
That man had a big heart and was always helping his patients to the best of his ability and he will be missed by many. Rest in peace kola(friend in sioux)

This is shocking and sad to see. He was an awesome doctor, kind and caring. Dr. Nguyen cared for my father and I when he worked at IHS. He continued to answer our questions and concerns after he opened his private practice. Peace and prayers to his family. He was a good man.
