Robert Morris Obituary
August 10, 1938 - March 19, 2025
Our beloved Papa, Robert James (Bob) Morris, went to our Lord Jesus on March 19, 2025 with his sweetheart and wife of 67 years, Jeanie (Jean Ann Hinton Morris) by his side. Other survivors are Jim Morris, LynAnne Morris German,three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Bob was a true people person, who was a successful sales manager for Hostess Cake in Phoenix and Fresno,CA and a SW Arizona District Manager for Holsum Bread, Yuma. He loved his retirement position, in Yuma, Arizona, as Maintenance Manager at Cibola High School, supervising a great crew of 28. Bob was a faithful member of Church for the City (CTC). He taught School, served as deacon and elder and he and Jeanie were Youth Leaders in various Christian churches.
Bob and Jeanie graduated from CGUHS, Casa Grande, AZ, in 1957 and were married while at the U of A in December of that year. Bob loved and was loved by
virtually everyone he met. He was always optimistic and cheerful with a great sense of humor. He loved his family and his Savior. He will be missed by many.
"I love you now and forever" was engraved on their wedding rings, and it is true. We are forever together, my beloved husband.
Graveside services were held on April 1, 2025 with extended family and friends at Tempe Double Butte Cemetery. Arrangements were made by Ertel Funeral Home, Cortez, Colorado.
