I´ve known Shaun for most of his High School volleyball season, but I didn´t start to get to really get to know Shaun until this year. He was in all of my classes at school and I remember we would always mess around in our ceramics class. One of my best memories with Shaun was playing beach volleyball with him, even though I was so bad at it. Shaun was a great friend to me he will never be forgotten.

I had known Shaun for almost a year. Shaun was the type of guy to uplift the team when the team was down or just wasn´t functioning properly. He was like the missing peace to the puzzle. He was an amazing athlete and an amazing friend. Shaun will always live forever in our Hearts

I only had the pleasure of knowing and playing volleyball with Shaun for a couple years, but the experiences I had with him on and off the court showed me what a great kid he was; definitely a shining light at our school with so much potential. Wish I could´ve witnessed the amazing things I know you were capable of, you will be missed so much brother, rest easy.

Shaun, you were an amazing human. The things you said to me I will always remember. You were always nice to me and helped me out when i was stuck in english. Youve been on my mind since the first day we talked and now youre just stuck in it. Whenever a taylor swift song is playing, I will remember you and your smile. I would have sat next you in graduation. But now Im going to sit next to a empty seat hoping that you wouldve sat next to me. But my head will fill of memories of you from english. I miss you Shaun and I miss your notification popping up everyday. You were a great listener. Even though I asked you to talk, you would rather listen. Out of everyone Ive met, you always gave me a different energy/aura. You were almost my boyfriend but now you will always be the boy I will compare the rest too. But I know no one will measure up to you. As our first conversation was about Taylor Swift, I wanted to add a lyric that reminded me so much of you. "In a world of boys, he´s a gentleman". Whenever the 1989 album plays I will remember our conversations and your smile. I hope you rest in paradise Shaun.

I´ve know Shaun for 4-5 years. We first really became friends in our 8th grade science class. Me and him were always friends but became pretty close once the school shutdowns hit and we had to stay home. Me and Shaun would talk on audio calls while playing video games instead of doing our schoolwork. This last year me and Shaun became pretty close and I would go as far as saying he was one of my best friends. We would work together on every project in any of our classes we had together. Every Friday me and Shaun had a tradition of going to get fast food. It was suppose to be a group thing but Shaun and I were the only ones in the group who had cars so it was almost only me and him always. I got to learn a lot about him that time and got even closer to him. We bonded over our love of food, video games, and our distaste for our teachers. Some of my fondest memories of him are getting canes late at night and just talking, or playing some late night pick up basketball in the spur of the moment, or going airsofting with him a few years ago. Shaun was the type of friend who was down for everything, at anytime and at the drop of a pen he would be there. We had a lot of fun. I´m gonna miss you buddy. Rest easy.

When I think of Shaun Busby, I think of the amazing memories we made during our early years of high-school, and throughout middle school. Whether it be sleeping over each others houses, going to each others birthday parties, or simply hanging out and playing video games, I could always count on Shaun for a fun and memorable time. I remember back in 4th grade we went to SkyZone and I was so impressed that he could backflip that I begged him to teach me. He spent just short of an hour teaching me the right way to tuck, spin, and how to jump at just the right height so I could land on my feet. Although I never could backflip, it is something I always look back on when thinking of Shaun. Someone who was patient and energetic and kind all at the same time. I deeply regret not putting time in to keep my friendship with Shaun strong over the past few years but I know that drifting apart is just something that happens. I loved Shaun during all of those years and I know that he is resting easy in paradise right now. Fly high Shaun, I love you man.

Shaun was who I would consider one of my closest friends. He was always there and he always listened, he had a lot of heart. Whether we were hanging out, playing video games together or just calling, his company was always appreciated and he had a warm energy unique to him and unlike any other person. I have a lot of memories with him that I will always cherish. Shaun, I sincerely hope you rest in paradise, because you don´t deserve any less than paradise. I love and appreciate you
