David Roberts Obituary
Zanesville - David C. Roberts, 81,of Zanesville, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on December 21, 2018 at Genesis Hospice-Morrison House, Zanesville.
Born March 27, 1937 in Zanesville, he was a son of the late Harley and Freda (Fowler) Roberts. He retired from Bearings Inc. after 40 years. He also served on the Perry Township Volunteer Fire Department for 50 years.
Surviving are his wife of 62 years, Dolores M. (Lichtner) Roberts of the home, a daughter, Rhonda (Van) Henry of Waverly; a son, Mark (Wendy) Roberts of Zanesville; five grandchildren, Heather (Chad) Keesee, Shane Henry, Nicholas (Taylor) Roberts, Cameron Roberts and Carley Roberts and eight great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Roberts and two sisters, Dorothy Barrett and Delores Anderson.
Friends and family may call from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. Wednesday, December 26, 2018 at BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Thursday, December 27, 2018 at the funeral home with Rev. Julie Evans officiating. Burial will follow at Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery, Zanesville.
