Deb; I will miss you more than words can ever express. You were like a sister to me in so many ways (not that you needed another one!) but it's hard to remember a time in my life when you and Jim were not a part of it. I know where you are, so I really didn't "lose" you, but I will cherish your memory until we meet again! I am so happy you are dancing with Jesus and totally free of any disease and pain. Can't wait to see you someday soon! Until then, I will remember you with a smile. Don't worry; I've got my eye on Jim and Annie and they will be okay in time. I'm so glad that you are more than okay now. Love you forever. <3

Carol, to you, your family and Debbie's:

Today you say good-bye to Debbie here on earth as she is laid to rest but she will always remain in spirit in your hearts. We didn't know her personally but knew her through you and I often said she was the poster gal for cancer. She paved the way so others that will follow could benefit from her treatment, her strength and her faith in God. She was and is an inspiration. Our prayers are with you.

Mr. Bryan & family I send my deepest condolences to your family. I never knew Debbie personally only from what my Mother Bekkie King has told me. She said she was a wonderful Christian with a heart of Gold unlike anyone she has ever known. God needed an "Angel" so he picked Debbie to walk on the streets paved in Gold she will look down on you from Heaven and keep you safe. The Angels are rejoicing as she is welcomed into the Kingdom of God. I pray that he will wrap his loving arms around the family and help you through the days ahead. God be with you God Bless you all.

Weep but briefly for your loved ones as they enter into the Kingdom of God,

for they shall possess a joy and peace that is unattainable on God's earthly realm.

Rather, rejoice in their everlasting and total happiness, for their eyes have seen God.

Deb was a very special, brave lady that I was fortunate to get to know at my time at North Terrace. My prayers are with you, Jim, and the rest of your family during this difficult period in your lives.

With Sincere Sympathy,

Jim and family:
There are no words of comfort that I can share, because I am grieving with you. I can still see Deb at our house on Harding Road, playing pool in our family room. She always was so kind to my parents. She really made my dad feel so special with her kind words, when he would be grilling out for the youth.
It's hard to imagine that she is gone.
I do know though, she is completely healed and in the place we all long to be!
Thanks for remembering your convenant relationship with the Lord, Deb and you and for caring for her, till death.
Love and hugs to you all.

Dear Jim -
Debbie was such a blessing to so many. I know you will miss her terribly. May God give you peace and may good memories bring you comfort. Your love for each other was special and an inspiration to all.
I value the friendship we shared and the times that we prayed for a baby (Annie!) to become part of your home. I will remember Debbie for her smile, her encouragement, and her thoughtful ways.
One extra special memory is of Debbie bringing the newly born Jennifer to the nursery door for my mom to be able to touch and hold (even though, back then, it was against the rules :). That baby is now 30-years-old, but Debbie is still a part of her "first day" story!
I thank God for Debbie and for her life and all the beauty she leaves here on earth. She is finally healed - praise God!

Jim, Annie & family I pray that the Lord with wrap his arms around you & give the strength you need to get through the days ahead..Debbie was a wonderful Mother, daughter, sister & friend. She will be truly missed.
God looked around His garden
And He found an empty place
He then looked down upon the earth
And saw your precious face

He put His arms around you
And lifted you to rest;
God' s Garden must be beautiful
He always takes the best.

He knew that you were suffering
He knew you were in pain
He knew you' d never ever
Get well on earth again.

So He closed your weary eyelids
And whispered " Peace be thine "
Then He took you up to Heaven
With Hands so gentle and kind.

It broke our hearts to lose you
But you did not go alone,
For part of us went with you
The day God welcomed you home.
