The Now

The past has gone so very fast

It wasn't here at all, it seems.

Who scooped it up? Where did it go?

Was it truly worth the effort we all know,

Or was it in our dreams?

Was it an illusion…as New Agers say…

Is that what we're experiencing the rest of today?

Or was it in our dreams?

Maybe that's all it is…illusionary stuff

It's only a life class of learning…

A lifetime of yearning…

To be where we're supposed to be,

But not quite sure where that's at.

So…let's just go with that flow, as they say,

Enjoy the rest of today.

If you know how, laugh, cry, smile, sigh…

That's all there is…The Now
