Kenneth Chase Obituary

Rev. Kenneth H. Chase

ZANESVILLE: Rev. Kenneth H. Chase, 80, of Zanesville passed away July 10, 2014 at Genesis Good Samaritan Hospital.

He was born January 17, 1934 in Detroit, MI, the son of the late Hasley and Lucy (Harrington) Chase. Kenneth was a retired Pastor having served in the Free Methodist Church and was currently serving as Pastor of Hopewell Free Methodist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Ethel Ann (Ray) Chase; sons, Michael (Cinda) Chase and Mark (Jayne) Chase; daughters, Christine (Mark) Rosebaugh and Carolyn (Brad) Ehrnschwender; eight grandchildren; and two great grandchildren; step-children, Randy Harter, Kenda Murvine and Erin Hayes; several step grandchildren and step great grandchildren; and sister, Doris (Doug) Rath.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his first wife of 48 years Barbara (Miller) Chase; two brothers, Arthur Chase and Henry Chase; three sisters, Agnes Riley, Pauline Kirksey and Vera Lemmons; step-daughter Deana Stalnaker; step-sons, Kevin Harter and Delmar "Corky" Bateson.

Memorial contributions in honor of his pastoral service can be made to Hopewell Free Methodist Church, PO Box 105, Hopewell, OH 43746.

Calling hours will be held 2-4 and 6-8 on Sunday, July 13, 2014 at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME 1150 WEST MILITARTY ROAD ZANESVILLE. Funeral services will be held 11am Monday, July 14, 2014 in the Snouffer Chapel with Rev. Steve Neville officiating. He will be laid to rest beside his first wife Barbara in Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery.
