OAKFIELD: Rick Dennis, 50, of Oakfield, Ohio died at 8:10am on Sunday, May 25, 2014 at Grant Medical Center, Columbus, Ohio surrounded by his family.
Born April 26, 1964 in Zanesville, Ohio to Sandy Inman Reeves and Tom Dennis.
Rick graduated in 1983 from Crooksville High School; he was a member of Pleasant Grove Tatmans Church; when his children were growing up he coached their sports teams; he had coached little league baseball at Moxie and youth basketball at Southern Local.
Survived by his parents, Dick and Sandy Reeves of East Fultonham; Tom and Cindy Dennis of New Lexington; wife of 25 years, Tuesday Perani Dennis of the home; daughter and son-in-law, Sierra and Cody Justice; son and fiancée, Tyler Dennis and Kayla Crabtree; his grandchildren who he loved more than anything, Cloey and Cody Justice; sisters and brothers, Teresa Murphy, Shannon Dennis, Pam (Terry) Ebert, Jimmy Dennis, Shane (Melissa) Dennis, Shadd Dennis, Rusty (Arica) Reeves and Glenn (Ginny) Brown; grandparents, Ralph and Jean Allen; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Burchell and Mary Perani; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Burchell Perani, Jr. and Becky Hinkle, Jodi and Holly Perani, Jason and Marieanne Perani, Shane and Desirea Perani; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by grandparents, Earl and Cleo Dennis, Albert and Mabel Inman.
Calling hours will be held from 2pm-8pm on Wednesday, May 28, 2014 at the Roberts-Winegardner Funeral Home, 304 Mill Street, New Lexington, Ohio. Funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Thursday, May 29, 2014 at the funeral home with Reverend John Jividen and Reverend Mary Perani officiating. Burial will be in Deavertown Cemetery.
