Dear Susie, JC, Carolyn and Dutch,
Merrilyn, Matt and I are deeply saddened by the loss of our dear friend, Sondra. We all loved her and felt close to her. She was so kind and loving and made us feel like we were part of her family.
I regret that I was not able to be there in Zanesville for her funeral. I am suffering from a hip injury that prevents me from traveling, so there was no way I could be there. Please know that I was there in spirit, and that we are keeping her and you in our thoughts and prayers.
God bless you,
Jim Skelton

I just want to say thank you all so much, from the bottom of our broken hearts. I am Sondra's niece, her "baby" brother Dutch's daughter. He is 68. But ALWAYS the baby to Sondra, much to his chagrin and naturally MUCH to her delight at his chagrin. Hahaha, I can tell you all knew her well;);) These words have meant so much to me, from all of you and I read each word crying happy tears. She truly was one in a million, she was so clever, generous, the most special person and now she is a beautiful angel dancing with Uncle Jim, the way they used to do. I will make sure Sue and JC read all these messages in case we don't see you at the funeral later today. On behalf of the family, thank you all so much. She touched your lives and made you happy! Now when her family needs you most, you reach out to us and it means more than we can say. Thank you and it's an honor and a privilege to address each and everyone one of you<3
