Beverly Trine Obituary

Beverly J. Trine Battle Creek Beverly J. Trine, 88, died Friday, June 12, 2009 at Lifespan Good Samaritan Hospice Residence. Beverly was born June 25, 1920 in Lawton, the daughter of Fredrick & Hazel (Hoyt) Brown. She was employed at the US Postal Service as a mail carrier from 1960 to 1985. Beverly was a member of the VFW Post #298 and the Eagles Aerie #299 Ladies Auxiliary. Her love for her family and friends was very significant in her life. She is survived by a daughter, Dawn (George) Smith and a brother; Anson Brown both of Battle Creek; seven grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren. Beverly was preceded in death by three husbands, Raymond Eagy, Charles Laberdie and Robert Trine; a daughter, Elaine "Kay" Sutton; two sisters and a brother.. At the request of the family, friends may call after 6 p.m. Monday at the Farley-Estes & Dowdle Funeral Home, where they will be received from 6-8 p.m. Memorial service will be held 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 17, 2009 at Ft. Custer National Cemetery with Pastor James Roberts officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to Lifespan Good Samaritan Hospice Residence which would be appreciated by her family.
