Gordon,
Just saw this about your dad. Please accept my sincere sympathy for your loss. Seeing this brought me back to many fine memories from so long ago. Hope all is well with you. I have read about your success as a chef. I plan to give you a call next time I'm in CA. I live in Tampa now.

I am Mrs. Neu granddaughter. My family and I would like to send our
sympathy to Mr. Drysdale family. When my father passed, I found comfort
in the kind words from other. I hope that you are able to do the same.
Mr. Drysdale was always very kind to us. He always let us park in his
driveway when we were over visiting our grandmother. My grandmother
enjoyed having him has a neighbor. I always felt that my grandmother
was blessed to have friends like Mr. Drysdale. He will be missed.
I am sorry that I can not be there in preson to tell you this.

Betty and Jim were our wonderful neighbors in the early 50's to the 70's when we moved to Colorado.
We had so much fun at holiday parties and picnics when the town allowed us to close Nantucket Rd. between Hiett Rd. and Chesterton Rd.
So many happy memories were made at these gatherings.
The St.John family extends our deepest sympathy to Keith,Gordon.Laurie and Lisa in the loss of their Dad--Jim.

I was a close friend of Gordon Drysdale back in the mid 70's. Prior to my moving to Colorado, I was living in Rochester but had nowhere to stay. The Drysdale's took me into their home and immediately made me feel like one of the family. I ended up staying there for a few months. I will always be grateful for their kindness. May God Bless them both.
