Mom, Anyone who knew you, knows what a classy lady you were throughout your entire life You were dignified, yet never stuffy. You were hilarious, yet never crude. You posessed a wonderful sense of humor. You were a caring, thoughtful, compassionate, selfless woman. You were also a very strong woman as you faced many challenges head on.
Mom, I already miss you so very much. I know that Dad and Johnny were on either arm to escort you to your rightful place in Heaven. You may finally rest now. As I said in Johnny's eulogy..."your pain has finally ended while all of ours has just begun."
Mom, there is a special place in my heart for you. It is filled with many fond memories. Hopefully, these precious memories will help to ease the tremendous pain of losing a very special mom. I want you to know that I always realized how blessed I was to have you as my mom.
Mom, you hung on for so long. You must have heard all of us discussing theories of how to stay awake for you. So, thanks for the message...as I was driving to Paul's house...the very first song to play on my CD player was Josh Groban's AWAKE! I could not believe it. The final line of the song..."Remember all the love we shared today". When the doctor viewed how many people were gathered around you he said.."Wow, there is a lot of love in this room". Mom, thanks for always being there for me....and for all of us. Love Always, Your daughter, Chris

To the Soares family: It was with sadness I read of your beautiful Mother's passing. I had been away for a few days so I did not have the opportunity to express my condolences personally to each of you. My memories of Centre Street are not complete unless I think of Jack fixing my kids bikes or Ruth and her cups of tea, gentle words and kind thoughts. I never knew if it was because I loved EJ and she felt that because he was such a 'active' youngster she had to watch over me. You kids never gave me any trouble and I think of you all fondly.
Your Mom will be missed but is no longer suffering and has now joined her husband and son. Know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. God Bless you all.

ahh Ruth, I still remember wondering where my mother was when she was gone for hours at a time. Over at Ruth and Jack's! You were so kind to me and my family for so many years and we were very saddened and were never the same after you moved. I remember when you used to be so stumped as to why our cat was so white and insisting that we bathed her! I miss that sweet smell of your house and your little walk between our houses. I will always cherish my memories of you. I wish you nothing but peace, and I am so comforted that Jack will be there waiting for you. You will never be forgotten.....

To the whole Soares Family, we are saddened to hear of your loss. At this time of year, especially with the holidays, it's even rougher. She is with the angels now and with her beautiful son John with whom we were dear friends.

Nana,
I couldn't have asked for a more loving, kind, thoughtful and nurturing grandmother. You were ALWAYS there! You were there when I was a child to hold my hand, you were there when I was a teenager to listen to my problems and give me advice. I will always remember you for that. The countless cups of tea at your kitchen table and all those long talks. I will forever be grateful that I had you in my life. God bless you Nana. I take comfort in knowing that you are finally reunited with Papa and Uncle Johnny, and all your loved ones. Watch over us Nana. I love you.
