Dr. Gose was not only a wonderful doctor and surgeon but most of all a wonderful person. He was a long time family friend from Mtn. View, MO, was my grandmother's surgeon through two bouts with cancer, the doctor who identified my thyroid disorder and encouraged me to lose weight. Blessings to the children, grandchildren and new great grandchild in this time of sorrow.

Sorry to hear of Dr Gose passing. I was his patient back 1968-70, when I was in a bad way. I certainly was a challenge to him, as he did 8 surgeries on me to put me back to good health. He took the best care of me. I am now 66 years old and over the years I have often told my husband about how good Dr Gose was to me, and that he is one who saved my life. May God bless him.

I am sorry for your loss. Dr. Gose was a fine doctor and always made you feel very important as a patient. He operated on me the first time to take my apendix out on my 13th birthday and again in 1981. I had a chance to drop by his home last summer and we had a great visit. He was always fun to visit with.

I worked with Dr. Gose years ago at FDC and he was a hoot! (It took him a while to quit smoking cigars in the clinic after we went smoke-free, but he finally did it). I will always have fond memories of Dr. Gose, and send my condolences to his family.

When I was 9 years old, I was hit by a hit and run driver. Dr. Gose was the doctor that put me back together. He was amazing and funny. It was a scary experience for a child, but he always made me feel better. He was my fathers doctor for years, and dad really liked him. I am now 61 years old. He will be missed.
