March 13, 1944 - March 7, 2013
Nancy, born in Ogden, Utah, moved to San Francisco as a child and met her husband of 44 years, Frank Burger. Nancy, an extraordinary, loving woman, passed away on March 7, 2013, surrounded by her children, the joy of her life. She was kind, patient and loving, with a sense of humor that never faltered. Nancy was an avid sports fan, who loved the Giants and was thrilled to watch them win two World Series titles.
Nancy is survived by her children, Ron, Kelly, and Shawn; 6 grandchildren; 1 great-grand-child, and cousins Mike and Pat Baggs. She was preceded in death by her parents, Norman and Betty Reynolds; and husband, Frank Burger.
The family would like to acknowledge the outstanding treatment she received from the Stanford Medical Center, transplantation team. Led by Dr. David Weil, the lung transplant members are superior individuals, whose remarkable drive to save lives through organ transplants was inspiring. They all will never be forgotten, along with our understanding for the need for more organ donors in the United States.
A private family memorial will be held to celebrate Nancy's life. In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorial contributions be made to the Stanford University Medical Center, GHAFD - Transplant Research and Patient Care Fund, Stanford University Development Services, PO Box 20466, Stanford, CA 94309.

Mom, your total devotion to us all was always known as well as felt by all of us always. My only wish is that you felt ours to you as well. You & dad never leave my mind as we all carry on with life nothing is experienced by us without sharing it threw our hearts onto you and we shall never stop.

I am saddened to hear of my cousin's death last year. Her father was the brother to my mom – who is 90 and still living in California. The last time I saw her was at Uncle Norman's funeral in Ogden, Utah. I would love to keep in touch with her children. PO Box 190050 Boise, ID 83719

Nancy, meant a lot to everyone she touched. She was such a kind giving lady and was my cousin but I always thought of her like my sister. She was always there for me when I needed someone that I could share things with. She has 3 wonderful children who will carry on her values. I will miss her more than words can express.
